VideoYulia's signature technique is oil painting on lustrous velvet. “Melody of Light”, “Tenderness” and “Fata Morgana” were all created this way.
A gifted animal painter, Yulia Lychagina strives to depict animals as accurately as possible with classical means — bringing out not only their decorative expressiveness but also the inner state behind every movement.
The crate reached Warsaw in five days, climate-packed with a certificate inside. Beech stretcher, painted edges — it hangs without a frame and looks intentional.
Mineral pigments with marble dust create a texture no print can reproduce. This is a case where one of a kind isn't marketing — it's a property of the material.

Yulia Lychagina — author, curator and sole maker of every work.
A contemporary artist whose creative path is closely bound to the distinctive genre of animal painting — above all, to painting horses. Living and working in Odesa, Yulia graduated from the Mitrofan Grekov Odesa Art College, gaining a solid academic foundation. After a break devoted to raising her children, she returned to her craft with renewed energy, focusing on her greatest passion.
Since 2013 Yulia Lychagina has been creating paintings devoted to the grace and power of horses. Her deep fascination with these animals goes beyond capturing their appearance: she spends considerable time studying equine anatomy, which allows her to convey their movement and character with remarkable precision and realism. She also keeps refining her skills with a range of art materials in pursuit of the greatest possible expressiveness.
Yulia Lychagina's paintings are valued far beyond Ukraine. Her canvases have found homes in private collections around the world, including Germany, the United Kingdom and Poland. Two of her paintings recently joined the collection of an art gallery in Australia — a sign of the growing international recognition of her talent.
Her success as an animal painter comes not only from her skill but from a sincere love of horses. Infused with that passion, her paintings convey to the viewer all the beauty and strength of these noble creatures, making her a truly outstanding painter.
